Farmstock at Heirloom East Bay in Castro Valley
Sept 16 at 7 pm
The Not Loud Concerts team has found another great hidden farm to present a show, this time in Castro Valley. On Tuesday, Sept. 16 an assortment of Not Loud Musicians will be presenting a concert focused on acoustic versions of classic rock songs that we're calling FarmStock. This event will be held in a beautiful field at Heirloom East Bay in Castro Valley.
The 1 hour show will feature mostly songs from the bands that played at the original Woodstock in '69, from Janis Joplin to Canned Heat and of course CCR. Come out on a beautiful warm evening and sit under the stars on provided chairs while the band Dirty Cello, joined by special guests, rock out - but not too loudly.
The band Dirty Cello is lead by Rebecca Roudman, often called the "Jimi Hendrix of the cello," and she'll of course play some Purple Haze. Known for their exciting re-imaginings of classic rock songs, Dirty Cello is all about energy and fun. (later we'll add the guest here)
Advanced tickets are encouraged and there will be bathrooms available and farm goods to purchase, but no formal food. Picnics are welcome and there is an indoor area in case of inclement weather. Song requests before the show are very welcome - please email them in!

What Sets Us Apart
Not Loud Concerts was inspired by numerous jokes on the internet about wanting to go see a concert that was, “Not too loud, not too late, not too long and not too expensive.”
With this idea in mind, Not Loud Concerts was created to showcase music based on the following principles:
Not too loud
Comfortable seating
No hidden fees or crazy ticket prices
Good parking whenever possible
Not too long
These concerts are created for the enjoyment of the audience and are not based on old traditions.
What to Expect
What The Show Will Be Like
At a Not Loud Concert the band will perform for around an hour with no intermission. The concerts will feature outstanding musicians performing in a lightly amplified manner with primarily acoustic instruments. Doors will open 30 minutes prior to the start of the show.
Each concert will be audio recorded and emailed to the ticket purchaser about 2 weeks after the show.

FAQ's

Bands will play with light amplification that allows the listener to enjoy the music and hear the words, without worrying about discomfort.
What do you mean by "Not too loud?"
There will be chairs or pews available for everyone, no standing or sitting on the floor.
What is “comfortable” seating?
The ticket price is the price and no processing fees will be added later.
What are “no hidden fees?"
Whenever possible, Not Loud Concerts will be held in a place with easy to find parking that is close by.
What is “good parking?”
Please email NotLoudConcerts@gmail.com, 24 hours before the show to request a refund.

Are kids welcome?
Yes, if the venue meets all of the requirements and can hold at least 40 people. Please email NotLoudConcerts@gmail.com for more info.
Can I host a concert?
Concert recordings will be emailed about 2 weeks after the show to the email address of whoever purchased the tickets. These recordings can then be shared.
When will my concert recording arrive?
If you are a mostly acoustic band that can draw an audience in the greater Bay Area, please email: NotLoudConcerts@gmail.com
